12 x 12 Christmas Cookies, Roller Skating and Date Night Layouts
Free Scrapbooking Pages – See how I used ric-rac, swirly stamp, rub-ons, corner rounder, staples, and embossed paper to create these 3 fun designs. I hung out yesterday after I did errands playing around with my scrapbook supplies and ended up with 3 completed pages. I'm always thankful when I like what I do...sometimes the creative juices just aren't flowing.

Free Scrapbooking Pages 1 – Christmas Cookies -.
My Uncle came into town to bake the traditional family Christmas Cookies
this year. But I needed to come up with a gluten free version. I'm
thankful to GlutenFree Goddess for a great GF ginger snap recipe. Then
later in the season my Grandmother came up with her own GF version of
our family cookie recipe. But these pics are from just me and the boys
cutting out heart shaped cookies. I used a blue piece of paper from The
Paper Studio. Then I added the green burlap textured paper. The title is
done with rub-ons from Making Memories “Mixed L Brite.” I cropped the
photo of the cookies and rounded the corners. Then I added the red paper
to mat the 4 x 6 photo. I attached the thin white ric rac with staples
and finally I added the hand journaling.
Free Scrapbooking Pages 2 – Keep Trying/Roller Skating -
My poor kiddos – at the beginning of the night, they could barely stay
on their feet but by the end they were skating pretty well. So, I titled
the layout “Keep Trying” 'cause at first they really wanted to quit. : )
This was such an easy scrapbook layout to do. It is just the 12 x 12
paper, 3 photos, rub-ons for the title and 1 stamp with black ink. Oh,
and I did round the corners of the paper and the photos.
The stamp is from All Night Media – Swirl Border and the rub-on title is
from Doodlebug Design – Party Mix.
Free Scrapbooking Pages 3 – Date Night -
We usually get coffee for date night and/or go to a book store and sniff
book dust. Usually, I don't take photos of store fronts but Panera is
where we usually go so one night right before our date I snapped this
pic. I've been inspired by The Paperclipping Roundtable podcast to “tell
the story” on my scrapbook pages. And here is one of the every day
stories of our lives...what we do for date night. : )
This was another super easy scrapbook page. I used a the already
embossed paper from a paper pack (Cloud 9 Design Specialty) I got at a
discount store. I added the black rub-ons for the title...can you tell I
love rub-ons? : ). I matted the photo and added the hand journaling. Ta
da...super easy!
