Scrapbook Page Layouts 1 – Backyard Football
My favorite thing about this design is that my husband very kindly did
the journaling for me. I love that...especially because the layout is
all about football...one of his favorite things. The background is just a
12 x 12 piece of white card stock. I then added the brown football
words paper along the left side. Then I added the 3 photos. The football
embellishments were actually buttons with little loops on the back to
sew them on. I used needle nose pliers to pull the loops off so they
would lay flat on the page. The title is done with stamps. This layout
was super simple but it still took me a little while to think out. Many
times I do things in 15 minute increments...Flylady style. You can see
that from my
Facebook Page.
Scrapbook Page Layouts 2 – 5 photo layout with lots of “story”
I started this layout with a
YouTube video.
Most of the time I start a layout by choosing photos and then papers and
then I decide where to put my photos and crop them if I want to but
this time I started by cropping them. I already knew mostly how I wanted
to lay them out and that I wanted quite a few smaller photos. So, once I
had the photos cropped I chose the background paper. Then I placed the
photos and cut the circle patterned paper in a strip. The circle paper
is KI Memories “My Guy.” I rounded the corners on the 4 x 6 photo and
then added the title with foam stamps and bottle cap stamps by
Stampabiliites. Finally, I added hand journaling.
Scrapbook Page Layouts 3 – The Big Red Van
I love the retro look of this design. I've had this patterned paper pack
for a long time and have found some of the patterns hard to use but it
was so fun to use this red, brown and tan polka dot paper. On top of
that, I added the gray card stock. Then I matted the 4 x 6 photo with
black card stock. For the title, I used rub-ons and for the red part of
the title I used red labeling tape. Finally, I added the hand
journaling...a bunch of memories from my child hood about The Big Red
Van. : )
