3 layouts from my personal collection
On these scrapbooking page ideas, see how to paint chipboard
letters, use flower embellishments, jewels and labelers. One of the
layouts is about devotions and one is a summer, kids layout.

Scrapbooking Page Ideas 1
This layout was inspired by a Mom's
conference message. I was convicted to be more consistent with morning
devotions and I created this layout to remind me. It hung on my wall for
quite a while. I hung it with a clipboard which looked cute but if you
want a more permanent choice, try scrapbooking frames – I saw them at
Hobby Lobby on one of the scrapbooking ailes. These days, morning
devotions are done with my kids as part of school – this works so well
and fits in with my goal of doing thing with my kids.
The
layout starts with a 12 x 12 piece of white card stock. Then I added
the green card stock on the bottom right. Next came the row of 3
photos. I then painted the chipboard M with some acrylic paint (I think)
and glued the jewels onto it and other various places on the layout. I
added the flower and journaling and created the black labeling stickers
with a inexpensive DYMO labeler I picked up at Walmart.
Scrapbooking Page Ideas 2
This design starts with the light green piece of 12 x 12 card stock. Next came a blue vertical strip on the right side, then the dotted type pattern, the cream card stock, the blue horizontal strip on the bottom right (I punched the circles out with my circle punch) and then the photo and vellum. On the cream layer I used chalk to give the edges some interest and for the little journaling area below the photo I traced the outline of a file folder and cut it out of the same cream card stock. The vertical NOAH along the lower left of the vellum and the 2 sets of four white circles where stamps and I believe I used a stamp pad called Archival Brilliance Moonlight White (pigment ink). I attached the vellum with staples and two itty bitty pieces of double sided tape.

This side starts out with the light green card stock and then the dotted pattern. Next, I added the striped strip across the top for a little bit of a title. The summer '05 are little stickers. I matted each of the 4 photos – the 2 smaller ones with cream (edged with blue chalk) and the larger ones with blue card stock. I did the same file folder technique on the top edge of the top larger photo. Also, I added a blue circle. Then came the vellum attached with staples and the cream circle on top of the blue circle that is under the vellum. I attached some ribbon tags with staples and doodled a bit on the vellum. Finally, I added the same circles in a line stamp near the title to pull the two pages together even more.
